DDH in Illinois

Our Illinois course is designed to meet the educational requirements for laser use in most states, including Illinois.    Hygienists can expect to learn the value and benefit of laser-assisted hygiene, including the role of laser debridement in the treatment of biofilm infection and the host inflammatory side of periodontal infection through energy absorption.

The eight-hour course will also review:

• How best to explain laser procedures to patients
• Choosing appropriate settings
• Treatment planning, coding, and fee assessment
• An introduction to photo-biomodulation and wound healing
• A clinical, hands-on simulation

Angie is an in-office laser hygiene consultant.
