Maria graduated from dental hygiene in 2009 from Truckee Meadows Community College and furthered her education at Southern Nevada College.
Maira became interested in lasers and completed her certification in 2016. Since, she has implemented laser as a therapeutic and preventive adjunct in her general dentistry practice. She sees great treatment outcomes when patients are compliant. As an experienced clinician, Maira is most passionate about patient education.
Maira’s favorite part of joining Dedicated Dental Hygiene is the positive impact she can make on dental offices by introducing the staff to laser training and the results she continues to see in patient treatment. Maira says, “I am also excited to be reunited with (owner, Dedicated Dental Hygiene) who I previously worked with in clinical practice and our local association component. In her free time, Maira cherishes the time she spends with her family. She believes that any amount of time she gets with them is time well-spent. She loves to travel and has visited many countries. She mostly loves going to European and South American countries.
